I am a celebrant trained and accredited by Humanists UK and have been conducting non-religious wedding ceremonies for some years.
What I find particularly enjoyable is working with couples to plan and design a ceremony which is just right for you: be that with a more formal or informal approach; indoors or outdoors; large gathering or small. Every ceremony is different and unique to the couple and their guests.
So each ceremony is written specially for you, incorporating the music, readings and approach you choose as well as ensuring that all the practical details are taken care of. It’s helpful to have a rehearsal/run-through in advance of the ceremony to make sure everyone knows what is expected of them and that everything appears effortless on the day. That means you can enjoy your wedding ceremony: as a memorable event for all the right reasons!
